Grilled Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients
- 454 gm Beef, flank steak, boneless, lean and fat, 0mm (0") trim
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 dash Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup Parsley Fresh
- 2 tbsp Oregano Fresh
- 4 colves Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1 Whole Lime Lime juice Fresh
Instructions
- Heat grill to high heat.
- Season steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, parsley, oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, and lime juice to make the chimichurri sauce. Set aside.
- Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your preferred doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to distribute.
- Drizzle chimichurri sauce over the steak, and serve any extra sauce on the side.
